Ensuring the Security of Your Data

At RevvedUp, we understand the importance of data security and privacy. We are committed to ensuring the safety of your files. Here's how we manage the security of your uploads.

Encryption and Storage

All files uploaded to our system are securely encrypted stored in Cloudflare’s R2 (very similar to Amazon S3.) We leverage the robust security features of Cloudflare, a leading cloud services provider, to store your files. Amazon S3 provides strong encryption features to protect your data at rest. Signature-Based Authentication

We use signature-based authentication to ensure that only authorized users can access the files. This authentication method involves generating a unique signature for each request. This signature is then used to verify the authenticity of the request and the identity of the requester.

No Public Access

Our Cloudflare R2 storage does not have public access enabled. This means that your files cannot be accessed by anyone outside of our system. We have implemented strict access controls to ensure that only authorized personnel can access your files.

Domain-Specific Authorization

We authorize only specific domains to create a limited time use access to any recordings that are uploaded to our system. This means that even if someone manages to get hold of a file's URL, they won't be able to access the file unless they are accessing it from an authorized domain.

Rails, Uppy and Transloadit

We use Rails, a secure and reliable web application framework, to manage our backend operations. For file uploads, we use Uppy, a modular, open-source file uploader. Uppy provides a variety of features that enhance the security and reliability of file uploads, including resumable file uploads and integration with Transloadit.

Transloadit is a file uploading & encoding service that helps us handle file uploads more efficiently. It offers a wide range of features including automatic file encoding, image resizing, and more. Importantly, Transloadit also provides robust security features, including signature authentication and secure URLs, to ensure the safety of your files. This also helps ensure the integrity of the files for all users of RevvedUp as we leverage Transloadit’s security features to ensure ill intentions are in place with the files being uploaded.

GDPR Compliance and SSL Certificates

We apply to all GDPR compliances with your files. We also use SSL certificates to encrypt the connection between your browser and our servers, ensuring that your data is protected while in transit.
